Where were you?
Wherever you were you should have been at Abbots Farm this morning. There were so many famous people from British History in the hall!
We met Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, William Shakespeare, some of the Suffrogettes…even Scary Spice!! They were all there, explaining why they are an important part of our history and how they have helped shape the world we live in today!
To top that we then spent time Morris dancing, looking at British artists and even invited our parents in for tea and scones (aproper British past-time!).
What a day!
During our games lesson on 5th February, we had part 2 of our A6-J6 Indoor Athletics and the winners were A6 with an outstanding 178 points. The runners-up, which were closely behind, had 5 points less than A6 – it goes to J6. After part 1, the score was A6 92 points, J6 91 points. A6 might be better at sport, but J6 got 5 points for well behaved. Well Done, A6! We are the champions!!!!!
We have been looking at the body structure of a range of dinosaurs in our science lessons. We have been drawing conclusions and making comparisions with how they evolved.
Come in and have a look at our books and our display from our investigation afternoon!
The class have been writing their own versions of ‘The Dare’.
Come in and read a few examples!
A6 are very good at music and we just proved that our musical skills are even better then we thought, thanks to our skilled performance in front of Mr Andrews.
